Why we're building this
Paying out of pocket shouldn't mean paying blind.
If you don't have insurance — or your deductible is so high you're effectively paying out of pocket anyway — the hardest part of getting care isn't the medicine. It's that no one will tell you the price until the bill already exists.
There's a structural reason it comes out this way. Insurance is built for the rare and catastrophic — the surgery, the ER trip, the emergency no one saw coming. Blood pressure and cholesterol are the opposite: a handful of visits, labs, and refills, every year, for life. Running steady, predictable care through a system built for emergencies is much of why it reaches you as a surprise bill instead of a price. We're not here to replace insurance — we're lifting the one kind of care that never fit it back into plain daylight: one published, flat monthly price, decided before you sign up, not after.

Every price is published before you join, in plain dollars. If we can't show you the number up front, we don't consider it fair.
Plain numbers, always cited
When we quote a figure, we link the source. No vague averages, no scary numbers without context — the standard we hold ourselves to on our Learn pages.
No games
No insurance paperwork, no surprise bills, no hidden fees, no lock-in contracts. When we launch, the planned month-to-month price will be cancellable any time; paying for a year up front covers that year.
Care from independent, licensed clinicians
When we launch, care will be delivered by independent, licensed clinicians. We handle the membership and connect you to those clinicians — we don't practice medicine, and we never split clinical fees.
Independent by design
We're independent of the clinics we connect you to. We plan to select clinicians on quality and price — never on who pays us — and to keep standards high with feedback from members and clinicians once we launch.

Where we start
Why blood pressure and cholesterol first.
They're two of the most common chronic conditions in America, and they're mostly managed with steady, low-cost routines — a visit, a familiar medication, the occasional lab. That's also exactly the kind of ongoing care self-payers get nickel-and-dimed on, one charge at a time. You don't need both to join — one membership covers whichever you have, and your price doesn't change if the second ever shows up.
That makes them the clearest place to prove a flat, honest price. Once we've earned that, we plan to add more conditions the same way — published price first, care from independent, licensed clinicians.
